No sanctuary With Company Dissolution

Company dissolution is not what it is cracked up to be. Some directors think that it’s the route to the Great Escape. The hiding place that creditors can’t find. Sanctuary. It’s not!

On the Government’s website – gov.uk – there are comprehensive instructions on how to apply to court for a restoration order. (http://ift.tt/1vbfi5e)

If your company owes HMRC a significant sum then they will track your company down and resurrect it from company dissolution so that they can wind it up. This may seem strange but the purpose is so that it can be investigated by the insolvency service. Then there will be fireworks.

So instead of hiding away, use a corporate rescue procedure to dig yourself out of the hole. You may be able to avoid an investigation and keep your business. This has got to be better than a company dissolution.
