Isn’t it strange when you see a workforce go out on strike when the management has announced that they are closing a company.
It does happen so it’s probably done to get media attention in the hope that some Knight in shinning armour may step in and save the day.
Closing a company is not an easy decision as it means an investment write off.
However it often means a vast reduction in overheads.
But there are not many companies that like to let employees go, especially when the economy doesn’t offer much hope to the older ones.
