The Government doesn’t really like to see Tax debt help being given. They just want their money.
HMRC intimidates many directors into choosing the wrong direction in favour of paying HMRC.
In paying HMRC the business may have to close or certainly can’t expand and employ more people.
It costs the state a minimum of £8,000 to support each person on social security.
So there should be some sensible calculations done by the Government so that HMRC does not attack directors at their most vulnerable time.
